there are only two drive bays on a G5. to add additional internal drives, you need a PCI card. The Sonnet PCI card has power and data terminals to support (3) internal sata HD's (mounted in a after market bracket) on which I had my superduper managed Raid array. best...jf i had already planned to go back to an external drive backup scheme using time machine in preperation to moving solely to a laptop, but am about 5 months ahead of when i had anticipated doing so. the next thing i have noticed is that my custom profiles for monitor and printer calibration appear to be ignored. i was going to re-calibrate when i get my shipment of epson exhibition fiber paper so it's not a big loss. i've noticed leopard apps to be a bit snappier on the G5, imagine it is more so on an intel processor. best...jf
