Help, My G3 ibook is acting strange. It turns on but the display does not come on. I tried hooking another display to it but it still does not show up on the other display. I hooked it up to an external hard drive that was still hooked up to my G4. It came on and the display lit up but if froze... Probably because 2 systems were hooked to the same hard drive. The display also started getting funky horizontal lines running through. I have a feeling it may be the mother board. What does this sound like?
Also, since it turns on is there any way to save what is on the hard drive? Any advice would be appreciated. I was hoping to be a new laptop next year but this may speed up the decision.
