a nice ending to an unfortunate situation!

i would say the current macbook is most reliable, which would the  
better choice, with the simple reasoning that any new purchase should  
be of the intel chip variety to keep up with the technology.

however, i do wonder when macbooks will ship with LED screens. i  
believe jobs indicated that all products would ship with LED screens  
by end of 2007. longer battery life would be a benefit. best...jf
