Ann it would depend you what you want to do with Windows. I use Fusion instead of a bootcamp partition which for 10.3.9 you will need to upgrade to 10.5 to use bootcamp now. I use Fusion to run Windows versions of software that I teach so that I can give students screen shots in Windows. With Fusion you can create a Windows hard drive virtual drive that you can keep on an external drive that saves on disk space. You will just need a version of Windows of coarse.
