I have been using "Grab for an eternity" it seems. ( The other Jerry
- the Yeager kind )introduced me to it ) For me one of the most
useful applications for preserving poems, or notes. The files are in
tiff format, but then you can easily change them into jpegs as you do
with other tiffs, just open them and then save them as ---
or copy and paste . They also open in "preview".

keyboard screenshots are saved automatically to the desktop

Apple includes the utility "Grab" that is great for taking
screenshots
of the entire screen, a window, etc. Can someone explain how that is
any better than using the system of screenshots that we have done for
years of the Shift Apple 3, or Shift Apple 4 or Control, Shift, Apple
4, etc. etc.?
I would like to know how best to utilize "Grab" or if it is just a
nice utility to avoid remembering all the keystrokes.
Thanks all,
John
