Yes, the MacBook Pro recognizes all 320 GB (or, to be more accurate, the 320,000,000 bytes and the 297.77 GB). If there is a limitation on how much other Macs will recognize, I do not think it is an OS limitation. I did not partition the drive. My MacBook Pro is out of warranty anyway and I don't have any extended AppleCare, so I wasn't concerned about that.
