What mail program are you using? Recent versions of Apple Mail (and

I'm using the most recent version of Apple Mail, running Mac OS X
10.5.2.
This is likely a keychain issue. Apple ships Mac OS X with a flock
of X.509 certificates from the standard certificate authorities. If
you open Keychain Access you can see them listed in the System Roots
keychain. Among them should be the Thawte Personal Email CA. That's
the one used to verify my signature.
You should also see my personal certificate in your login keychain.
The personal certificate is automatically added when you get a
signed message. This allows you to send me encrypted email.
Would that be one of the following?
Thawte Personal Basic CA
Thawte Personal Freemail CA
Thawte Personal Premium CA
Thawte Personal Server CA
Oh yes, I see three of you all identified as Thawte Personal Freemail
Issuing CA, each with slightly differing expiration times (all on the
same date).
Interesting, but I don't think I'll send you any encrypted messages
since as far as I'm concerned anything I e-mail may be used on the
front page of the newspaper. And my mail still says unable to verify.
Anne
