Thanks to both of you again, I didn't know this feature was there. I don't need the zero out for security just because TechTools said to do so since there is a bad sector?????
Jerry, sorry I didn't know you had not tried to reset your Express, I have had to do that several times and on many occasions it does the trick, just like you have found.
