I have already moved my newsgroup sever from bellsouth. If they are
using porn then they should shut down the whole internet then. There has
been porn on the internet since day one. RIAA and the lot need to know
the genie is out of the bottle and a new way of doing business needs to
be addressed. I buy a lot of music thru emusic simple 10 dollars a month
for 3 albums a month. Then use iTunes for individual songs or albums not
available on emusic.

But as they said in TWIT, they didn't think it was because of porn it
was because there are downloadable music, movies available and that the
RIAA, and movie folks are behind this, and that they are using porn as
the excuse.

Just thought that I would pass this along concerning the alt.** news
groups. Bellsouth is not the only one dropping them. I was listening to
TWIT today and it looks like there are several ISP's dropping the alt.**
news groups (Roadrunner, Comcast and they mentioned some others). It
seems the Attorney General of New York started a campaign against the
news groups because porn was found on some of them. Here is the link to

As an old school intertube user I grew up on newsgroups and yesterday
Bellsouth dropped the bomb.

They dropped all the alt.** groups. Thought I would post for other

in Unison. This new fangled Web page business stuff .
