I got my kids the camera 4 years ago (before the birth of their son) It was the camera they wanted - I didn't do any research.
Since I've only gotten two videos from them since my grandson was born, I'm not inclined to get them another camera. For now the pc works just fine if they should happen to send me additional videos.
