I poked around on Macfixit and others and have not discovered where the battery
is located or the specs on the battery itself. I have a little round battery
shaped battery I think may be one I got for this computer years ago and didn't
use, but not sure. It is Energizer 1CR2 3.0v p11e lithium battery #2013.
If it sits way up inside the machine above the optical drive, I might want to
get a new battery even if this is the right one. I think it's gonna be a pain
to get to.
Could you point me to a site that would have instructions for changing it?

Thanks,
Ann

According to what I dug up, you may just have a dead battery.
