Thanks Lee & Jonathan

I thought I would have a problem, I have the house wired with the X10
outlets in the walls and many of the light switches but I have not
even attempted to get them working due to the dual electrical boxes.
I understand that I can put an adapter at the back of the 220 clothes
dryer that is suppose to "bridge" the two boxes but I have always had
weak knees to even begin trying to get all this working. I do want
to someday get the home where I can control it from a Mac but that is
on the list down several digits.

Thanks for your reply, I thought this might be a solution for backing
up to a drive in another part of the house where it might be hidden
from knowledge of someone walking off with a firewire drive.
