I'd give it a shot and see what happens if no one else has a similar config  =)

Yes, I've seen that. I guess I am looking for folks that are running it on
similar machines (specs) to hear if performance is OK.

Hi all,
I recently got a "teardrop" iMac for my son (thanks again Dan) and I have a
question regarding software
that can run on it.  The iMac's specs are: 500MHz, 384 MB RAM, 20 GB HD, and
it is running System 10.3.9.
I tried to install iLife 08 from a disc I have and it spit it right out.  I am
assuming that is because it didn't meet minimum system requirements (either
that or I didn't ask nicely)...  Will iLife 06 work?  If so, does anyone out
there have it for a reasonable price?
Aside from doing school work on the iMac, my son is a young musician and I am
eager to have GarageBand up and running for him!
All help/thoughts appreciated!
Stuart
