That's the point---I can't. The two drives appear as separate drives in the disk utility, not as separate partitions on the same drive. I have a sneaking suspicion that the two apparent drives are separate physical devices inside the same case. I'm hoping this is not the case, but don't know how to check.
The floppy-sized disk had some sort of windoze-only security software on it which could be used to lock the normal-sized part.
