Marta- Are you wanting to use a mouse, instead of the trackpad? If so, in your system pref choices, under Keyboard & Mouse, under tab for 'Trackpad, down at the bottom, click 'ignore trackpad when mouse is present'. Isn't that wonderful! Apple has a rodent detection system built right into our equipment to help keep our homes pest free! So remember, if you have this check-box clicked and there is a field mouse hiding somewhere in you house, your trackpad will not work. Thank you Apple!
