God, I love this group. Lee you were right. I turned off Virus protection, Anti Malware software (removes malware and spyware), and AD-Aware another malware/spyware program). Once I disabled all of those I was able to install Photoshop Elements 2 and ClarisWorks for Windows without any problems.
