I know not to throw out the battery in the trash. Also I thought about getting
a new battery for my old UPS or buying a new one. Decided to get a new one
(easier); also my old UPS id probably 12 years old. I have been debating a
number of years wondering how long they last. Does the surge protection aspect
died or decline before the battery dies or not.
