The Dynamic DNS service has little to do with what I suggested. It is a way to
give the dynamic IP address assigned by Insight a name of your choice. For
example, I use it to give my Insight IP the name lml.homedns.org. When Insight
changes my IP, the dyndns software will automatically get the new address
mapped to the name. This way, I can log into my home machines from elsewhere in
the universe without having to know the IP address Insight gave me today.

Many routers have the dyndns software built into them.
