If it bothers you, the scrolling direction can be changed in the system 
preferences. But, I'd just get used to the new direction because Apple is 
trying to get scrolling to work the same in iOS and Mac OS.

You should install iDVD from the original disk. I think Pages and Numbers can 
be dragged in.

Have you tried iCal>Calendar>Refresh?

I don’t  know if this works with the iCloud calendar, but it does work with 
Google calendars. We've switched all our calendaring over to Google calendars.
