Can you be more specific?

You installed iDVD pro from what disk?

I downloaded the osx lion update from the app store. Extracted it using 
instructions from the web, created a boot dvd following those same 
instructions. The dvd, as far as I can tell does not contain iDVD or iPhoto 
which was also not installed.
