Harry, Jonathan is right, the App store gives you several choices but as I read 
some of the better rated it seems 10 feet may be about the limit.  The little 
Sony would also not be good for an interview situation I don't think, holding 
it close to your mouth for personal notes it works fine.

Here is a review of the Mikey from Blue.  Again, it depends on your use.
