For the past several years I've posted to this group the December statistics
for operating systems used by computers that access our website,
Louisville.com. This year's 2012 OS stats give the breakdown by percentage of
the 120,897 computer users who visited Louisville.com in December 2012 and
compares this year's numbers to the same month's numbers going back to 2007.

The continuing and still accelerating decline of Windows as the OS of people
coming to the site is particularly striking, as is the meteoric rise of the
mobiles, iOS and Android. 2013 will no doubt be the year that Windows visitors
drop to less than half of the users visiting our site. Who would have predicted
that in 2007?

I have no idea how our stats (from Google Analytics) compare to national stats,
but I have no reason to think that Louisville.com would differ much from other
sites. If anyone has national stats, I'd like to see them.

Dan
