Well John, I guess you are right, and I should have known it.
A good buggy whip is hard to find nowadays.
And everyone is making rifles with plastic stocks and claiming they
are better.

Your right Neal, as society changes jobs do, not many blacksmiths
anymore, not many Walkman's, not many CD's purchased, music is
downloaded. It's a shame when an industry changes that those employed
in that industry are not immediately aware of what is coming and they
don't try and prepare. My first job out of college was L.M. Berry,
they were an agency that did the Yellow Pages for the Bell's.
Now the Yellow Pages will be completely gone in a few years, all those
folks will have needed to change. We can't slow society's changes,
they are coming rapidly and to survive we have to adapt.

A digital library might be nice, but think about all the people who
would be out of work if we did not have paper books.
Off hand, being an author, I think we are the only ones who would
not be affected. Those who are printers, ink and paper manufactures,
book sellers, and those who work for publishers would all be
looking at the possibility of lost jobs. Right now, what we do not
need are lost jobs.

In case you missed it. This had to happen sooner or later; it is
now here. A 100% digital library. Absolutely no traditional books,
stacks, card files, etc.
