I’ve been running Mavericks for about a week and have also found it solid as 
far as hangs or crashes go. My only beef is that they’ve done something that 
interferes with Quickeys, which I use for a lot of basic functions. Quickeys 
still works, but sometimes I have to press the keystroke combinations that 
launch the scripts several times before they launch. I suspect/hope there will 
be a Quickeys update coming out soon.
