Oh, you are connected via Wi-Fi? Believe me, there are problems with Yosemite Wi-Fi.
I had in the home an Airport Extreme, the new Tower, and 6 Airport Expresses. (Connected with Ethernet & one via Wireless) One went to a printer to make it wireless, the other four went to speakers so I could send music to different rooms in the house. Once I upgraded to Yosemite the wheels fell off, I mean it was unreal. I called Apple, worked with them about an hour the first call, the tech felt the Extreme was not distributing IP address correctly so he sent me to go Apple and exchange for a new one, which I did. Didn’t help. Now the Tech felt it must be the Modem from TimeWarner, they came out and installed a new modem, didn’t help but the TW tech felt it must be my Cisco Small Business Switch, so I installed a new one, didn’t help. Then Apple upgraded me to level 2 and I worked with this man on three different occasions for about an hour each. I gave away all the old Airport Expresses and purchased all new, thinking that possibly that was the problem Back on the phone with Apple, each time the tech’s were recording everything that had been done for the next step would be the Engineering dept that I was not allow to talk to, but the level 2 guy would. I returned the new Airport extremes for a refund and I wait….for Apple to get this Networking problem solved. It’s documented on chat groups but none of the Tech’s had EVER had anyone go to the lengths I did to see where the error was, which I eliminated EVERYTHING but Yosemite. On my office Mac the older model Extreme keeps a green light but it shows up orange in Airport Utility, only going green for a few seconds when I unplug and restart…but quickly back orange. I have three networks in the home, they work as long as there is just ONE item on the network stream, can’t add a second. So, since you are having similar problem it may be that this all revolves around the Apple networking problem, and I would get on the phone with Apple and have them walk through this with you, thus they will gain knowledge of what problems they have. If I am wrong, great, if not we each need to keep kicking on their door so they’ll get a good picture of where the problem lies.
