Yes the new airport 2tb works great. Only problem is getting my old backups 
transferred. Maybe should just keep the old one and wait for an apple fix. I 
can't hear on phone so calling would do no good in my case. To go to Apple 
Store I have to catch a plane and rent a car which is hard in winter because so 
many snowbirds. 
At least I'm not only one having problems.
