Actually I'm not using the VIP folder to send messages. I'm using it to identify incoming messages that are from real people I want to hear from.
Right not I get 400 to 500 emails a day, most (all but maybe 20 are junk. I not have most of the real people identified and can read messages in the VIP folder, move to whatever folder they belong in and then go to my inbox checking out messages that have not yet been opened. Helps speed things up. I also just had my ISP (win.net) turn junk mail filtering back on. I'll try it again and see if I can get it to work. Also thinking of switching from POP to IMAP. Will ask the group about that in a separate message.
