Richard, Have you checked your settings for the Pages and Numbers apps themselves on both devices to make sure they are utilizing iCloud? I just started using these programs and couldn't figure out why the files I had set up on my iPad were not showing on my iPhone. I had both devices set to use iCloud, but there is a separate place for each app where you have to turn it on too. (Scroll down in the Settings and Pages, Numbers and Keynote are listed at the bottom. Click on each and turn on Use iCloud.) I hadn't done this on either device so they only showed on my iPad where I had created them. (All this time I thought they were being backed up to iCloud too and they weren't because I hadn't turned it on for the apps on my iPad - Yikes!!)
