I don’t want to see this list devolve into political arguments, but I do think 
it’s important to point out that there are two quite distinct points of view on 
this issue. I disagree with most of what John says and am glad that Apple is 
putting pressure on South Carolina’s government not to enact laws that 
discriminate against transgenders. It is relevant to Apple, since the company 
needs to consider how the laws of any state affect its employees. Many other 
companies are taking stances — on both sides — in the states where such laws 
are being considered or have been enacted.
