Is there a way to turn off updating of Apple-installed apps? On some work computers that I manage, I don’t want to update (or even use) certain applications, such as GarageBand, Keynote or iMovie, but am notified whenever there is an update available. Prior to the App Store, there was a checkbox for “Don’t notify of updates for this application” or something to that effect. But I don’t see anything like that now.
Could I just uninstall the programs that I don’t want to use or update (which is to say, drag them to the trash, as I don’t know of any other way to uninstall them). I know that Apple won’t even allow me to trash some programs, such as iTunes; not sure about ther other Apple apps. _______________________________________________ MacGroup mailing list Posting address: [email protected] Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/> Answers to questions: <http://erdos.math.louisville.edu/macgroup/>
