Dan,

Curious if you had any responses on this? In a corporate environment and I
would love to be able to get rid of a few things like Notifications and
other Apple apps that are not utilized, or that our end users don't need
access to.

Thanks!

Is there a way to turn off updating of Apple-installed apps? On some work
computers that I manage, I don¹t want to update (or even use) certain
applications, such as GarageBand, Keynote or iMovie, but am notified
whenever there is an update available. Prior to the App Store, there was a
checkbox for ³Don¹t notify of updates for this application² or something
to that effect. But I don¹t see anything like that now.

Could I just uninstall the programs that I don¹t want to use or update
(which is to say, drag them to the trash, as I don¹t know of any other way
to uninstall them). I know that Apple won¹t even allow me to trash some
programs, such as iTunes; not sure about ther other Apple apps.
