I am in Alabama visiting my son. Before we left I purchased a TIVO Stream,
connected it and my Tivo to my router with ethernet cables.
For over a week I have been able to stream to my computer. Yesterday afternoon
I streamed a program to my computer. I left the computer on and the went to
dinner. Later that evening I was unable to stream to my computer or to my
wife’s computer. I can however, stream to my iPad pro. When I try to stream to
the computers I get this message:
Problem playing show. We are unable to detect your TiVo streaming
device from this location. If you are currently away from home, streaming video
is not supported at this time.
How come I can stream to my iPad but not to my computer?
