Harry, Strange things, I have the UBS-C adapter that also has a regular USB plug, a HDMI and Lightening plugs…this is made by Apple. I’ve had two of these say they needed a firmware update, which I did, then the next day again the devise needs a firmware update, I did, and finally the third day it needed a firmware update, which I did and finally it stopped asking. Did these updates have to be sequential, who knows, did they not take the first two times, who knows.
It’s like how does electricity work, some of this is hard to understand.
