I think I figured out what happened. If you start to update an app and cancel the update before it completes the App Store adds the incomplete update to the list of complete updates even if you didn’t complete the update. But it still knows you need to do the update.
It’s confusing. I must have started the iTunes update and for whatever reason stopped it before the update was complete. But iTunes still showed up in the recently updated list. Today, I started the iTunes update, saw that it had already updated and stopped the update. I wrote the email to the group and when I returned to the Appstore I saw a second update to iTunes 12.6 even though I had canceled the update. I started the update again, and I let it finish and now the recent update list says I updated to 12.6 3 times. Welcome to the world of updates! Thanks for all your replies. > On Mar 24, 2017, at 9:41 AM, Harry Jacobson-Beyer <[email protected]> wrote: > > On March 24 the App Store app said there was an update to iTunes version > 12.6.
