My wife has had a boyfriend for years, she’s completely in love with this guy….not much I can do…however she has a hard time getting together with him since it’s George Washington…
She’s a history buff beyond anyone I know…we go to Williamsburg most every year, she knows all the President’s and can name them in the proper succession of their tenure in office…and she knows all their wives…. So, why tell you this? If any of you wish to visit Williamsburg I wanted to share what she received yesterday from the Williamsburg Foundation…. Yesterday Terry received a letter from the Williamsburg Foundation, one of her charities…they lost over $60 Million last year, the attendance is dropping dramatically every year since History is not stressed in school and folks are wanting to go to places where they can be entertained rather than lean of our history. The Foundation is selling everything to private investor’s in order to attempt to survive. Who knows if these folks paid 10 cents on the dollar and what they will do to make it profitable, put rides in the middle of Williamsburg? Really a sad day for my wife, but more so for this country. I imiagine I’ll have to seek counseling for her.
