Harry,

Collect the latest data on the use of ApplePay, use the dollar numbers, not 
percentages…it’s something like 12% of Apple users avail themselves of the 
service…UGH….then go to the firm and explain what it means to serve the Apple 
consumer.  I also use data showing what Apple User’s mean to a retailer vs the 
Android folks…good grief, Android is miles ahead of Apple is number of units 
but only a fraction of spending compared to the Apple User….let the firms know 
this…Apple means sales, they don’t know this, even the large firms don’t 
completely understand…thus if the Apple User’s would mount up and start using 
this the stats would get EVERY vendor’s attention.

I doubt if ApplePay caused your problem in Europe for some reason those folks 
are eager to adopt the service, it’s because your card company hadn’t done 
their job….but I understand your wife’s fear…
