Harry, 

This is from the Apple site.  It’s a great question that I’ve not yet faced, 
but this suggest your bank should do this for you.  I did have two chip cards 
hacked & the two banks sent new cards & the correct card info did show up 
without me doing anything.  Here is what Apple has to say: 

While you can't change your card number or expiration date, it should update 
automatically when you get a new card. If your issuer doesn't support updates, 
you might need to remove the card, then add it again.
