Well, I understand they allow 1 phone call from the hokey!   

At least if your standing in line & it doesn’t work you can quickly change to a 
card that hasn’t been updated & then work on updating when you get home.  

I have a Chase Debit, Chase Credit, Capital One, & State Farm cards that are 
all ApplePay on my iPhone & Apple Watch so hopefully I’ll have one that would 
work.  

I’ve had times when it doesn’t work but that has been a problem with the 
register.  At Meijer the Watch nor the phone would work, a manager was called, 
who transferred by purchases to another register & it worked perfectly.
