After further testing: Had to install the Qt 5.6 packages from sid since the Qt 5.3 packages in Jessie have the UDP networking bug included (shared network address not working with newer kernels). Got QtQuickVcp up and running with the 4.4 rt ti kernel.
However, it is not really working with eglfs. Not sure if this platform plugin is incompatible with a running X server, but got a completely distorted graphical output. The other Qt platform plugins including linuxfb and xcb did not work. Do you have experience with QtQuick applications and the TI kernels? How is one supposed to use eglfs?
