can i use a normal resistor to get 3.3v out of 5v or do i have to use a step down voltage regulator, that outputs 3.3v and works with 4v? (when it is a constant voltage of 5v, i could use a regulator but i dont know what to use for signal because it is a frequency, not a constant) in case of a regulator, i would use this one: http://www.exp-tech.de/pololu-3-3v-2-6a-step-down-voltage-regulator-d24v22f3
