I saw in a recent issue of Digital Machinist that Centroid is selling a motion control kit called 'Acorn' with built in motion control CPU. It retails for about $300.
For the money, you get the board itself, a 24V powersupply, a shielded ethernet cable and assorted sundries. >From what I can tell, the board appears to be is a pretty nice breakout board with removable connectors, a couple onboard relays, and a beaglebone green. I'm really curious if I this could be used with machinekit instead of the Centroid control software which still requires a pretty powerful PC running windows 10. http://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/acorn_cnc_controller.html -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
