I am planning to use Machinekit and a BeagleBone Black to control a 5-axis CNC machine via Machinekit on my PC desktop.
It looks like I cannot get my head around how to bring the Machinekit interface on my desktop. My status: Brand new to everything other than my PC desktop!! - I have forged my way to connect BBB to the internet and have downloaded and upgraded the latest software. - I have Tightvnc Viewer installed on my PC, and can have the Linux environment on my desktop. ( Is Tightvnc viewer a linux environment?) - I have also installed Machinekit Client on my desktop PC. but don't know hoe to use it, because it doesn't boot up. The only interface I have had the chance to see on my Machinekit-Client is that the loading bar keeps rotating. It looks like I should also download a piece of software from here <https://github.com/machinekit>? Plus the above question, Should I use Tightvncviewer in conjunction with a virtual control Panel from here <https://github.com/machinekit>, or only one is required? Please check the files above to see where I am standing on my journey. All tips and hints are more than welcome. -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
