This is a
ASRock 90-MXB870-A0UAYZ, with an Intel Celeron mounted, and 8GB of RAM

i am trying to load the some standard configuration, the log I had attached
were for stepper_mm.ini
<https://github.com/machinekit/machinekit/blob/master/configs/by_interface/parport/stepper/stepper_mm.ini>
I haven't seen any configuration running on this machinekit instance. I
tried with preempt-rt, and it worked, but latency wasn't good.

I am attaching linuxcnc.log produced when I run
marco@debian:~$ export DEBUG=5
marco@debian:~$ halrun
msgd:0 stopped
rtapi:0 stopped
rtapi_msgd command:  /usr/libexec/linuxcnc/rtapi_msgd --instance=0 --
rtmsglevel=5 --usrmsglevel=5 --halsize=524288
rtapi_app command:  /usr/libexec/linuxcnc/rtapi_app_xenomai --instance=0
FATAL ERROR: OUT OF MEMORY (epoll.cpp:55)
/usr/bin/realtime: line 215:  6606 Aborted                 halcmd ping
halcmd:

maybe trying with machinekit-hal and machinekit-cnc is a interesting test?
