At this time, we have no plans to enhance/update subscriptions in the
next release. It's just one of those features which has slowly become
less useful with the advent of dynamic web pages which are constantly
changing.

I like your implementation of Subscriptions. One improvement I'd like to
see, is an option to open the updated page in a window in the back. This
will also solve the problem when a site keeps track on my last visit
using a session number, it assumes I have already seen the latest
version.
