I too live too far way to get DSL, so I have ISDN. Ync.net offers both 64k ($25/mo) and 128k ($50/mo) ISDN. Ameritech is my ISDN line provider. It's 4 cents a call to the local number for ync.net, added to the regular monthly line charge (same as a 2nd phone line). The installation was a little more expensive, and I opetd to get a router modem with a 4 port hub. I'm pretty happy with it, as it is very stable. I don't have a lot of other choices at this point anyway.
