Is it true that RJ-11 cables from phonenet adapters can be plugged into a
standard telephone jack on the wall of a house in order to connect Macs in
different rooms or on different floors? I was recently contacted by a family
who has five Macs in their house; two on the ground floor, two upstairs, and
one in the basement. They want to network them for file and print sharing.
Now, I am not going to undertake this project if I have to go poking around
with the wiring of their house, but if localtalk can go through the phone
lines in the house, I'll do it. Thanks!
