Just to clarify, RJ-11 is the style of jack, not the kind of cable. Ethernet
uses CAT 3 or 5 cabling and is connected to computers with RJ-45 jacks at
the end of the cabling. The same is true with phone, except it uses a
different kind of cabling and RJ-11 jacks.

This is possible if you use the PhoneNet LocalTalk connectors. However, you
cannot have the telephone lines you run LocalTalk over go outside of the
house. The way to do it is to disconnect the lines you are using for network
from the phone company.
