I have a PowerBook 1400 that I want to connect to my network (and thus the
cable modem), but I only have LocalTalk available. I tried to use my PB 540c
as a LocalTalk bridge, but it didn't work. How would I go about using the
1400 on the Internet?

Here's why some people don't use Macintosh.
They're misinformed or can't afford to replace
their Wintel boxes. Either that or they just like pain.
