Hi,
I have a LAN in my small company:
a 8150WS/110/Sonnet G3-300/264MB OS9.04 used a a blind server and connected
to DSL with IPNetRouter,
everything else is connected via hub to this:
4400/200/Sonnet G3-300/160MB OS 9.1
desktop beige G3 196mb OS 9.1
iMac233 bondi OS9.1
NEC Silentwriter via netserver
and PB 145 OS 7.1Pro via Farallon SCSI adapter.
Everything works fine except the PB connection. The PB can be accessed from
any of the other machines, but the PB cannot access the others or the
printer altho the other machines can be seen in the chooser of the PB.
Attempts at connecting are quitted with an error message. At times the PB
has been able to open shared files on the server (9.04), and so I thought
it might have something to do with 9.1, but in the meantime this doesn't
work either. As said, the other three can all open file sharing on the PB.
Internet connection doesn't work on the PB either: All of the LAN IPs can
be pinged, and so can the IP of my provider. Nevertheless, Eudora and iCab
tell me there is no connection.
I would be thankful for any assistance. In particular, I would like to be
able to print to the NEC from the PB and use filesharing. The internet,
especially iCab , is not absolutely necessary.

regards,

Bill
