Hi William,

Having read both your posts, I'm thinking that there is
a very good chance that my power supply's inability to hit
the 1.7 V max at startup might be responsible for my problems
here. When I plug the drive in there is no spin-up sound.
The lights simply go on. Also I am unable to power-eject
disks. It seems that anything that might require more
current doesn't work.

I am interested in acquiring an Iomega power supply
William so if you have the time and the inclination, contact
me off list with details. Thanks in advance, John.
